We had a very disappointing experience with Capital Zones Accounting Services. Despite a detailed onboarding process and a clear agreement based on our business model and requirements, the service we received was highly inadequate. We were assigned two different accountants, neither of whom were able to properly support our needs. Basic tasks such as WPS salary transfers were not handled correctly, and communication with our staff and clients was frequently delayed or unclear. Our tax return was not submitted on time, and at one point even our company phone line was disconnected because a bill was forgotten and not paid. This caused direct operational issues for our business. The agreement included remote support and two in-person visits per week, yet in practice remote support was almost non-existent and visits were reduced to one per week without proper justification. Other members of our internal team had to step in to cover basic accounting tasks. Overall, the lack of responsiveness, technical competence, and accountability caused significant disruption and distress to our company. Based on our experience, we do not recommend this firm for professional accounting services. Update from today: last evening the head of the company said he will ensure a smooth handover- today- and acknowledged shortcomings. Like a late VAT submission; failing to pay utility bills; poor to absent email communication and much more. Today I’m being told by him (screenshot below) that he won’t be handing over and he wants to take legal action. Why? So harming our business- actively- since Capital Zone took over is okay- but his company should not do their dues? The company owner received two active briefings- and from the outgoing accountant, a handover and handover file. Customer care comes first. I was promised visits to fix things that weren’t done by the accountant provided. Instead of that- they cancelled their contract with us: and not just once. During the notice period we received little to no support and requests were ignored and rejected by their management.
